KODAK 4200 CAROSEL PROJECTOR The Kodak Carousel 4200 projector gives you sharp, bright images and quiet, dependable operation. It accepts 2-by-2-inch slides in either 80- or 140- slide trays. Its safety thermal fuses protect the projector from overheating while the slide prewarmer prevents the slides from "popping." The carousel tray allows you to load slides quickly and gives you access to all slides at all times. When no slide is being projected, the dark screen shutter latch automatically masks the light. The remote control lets you scan forward and in reverse, as well as adjust the focus, without having to leave your seat. You can adjust the projection level up to 16 degrees. The projector comes with a full one-year warranty. Lens not included with projector.
Infrared Remote Control, Operates Up To 100 Away Thru Glass The Kodak Ektagraphic IR Remote Control/AV35 works with any Kodak Ektagraphic and Carousel slide projectors that have built-in remote capabilities. The receiver draws its power from the projector's remote accessory receptacle when used with a single projector. It uses a 9-volt battery (not included) when used with a Kodak AudioViewer or for two-projector use in conjunction with a dissolve control unit--such as the Kodak SP Programmable Dissolve Controller. You can scan forward or in reverse and adjust the focus from the same remote. This remote will transmit through glass, but with a reduction of its normal distance operation of 100 feet.

The AMT model was Kodak's best selling professional projector for many reasons. It has every feature offered on the Ektagraphic III series except the integrated pull-out view-screen (to get this feature see the top-of-the-line Kodak Ektagraphic III ATS projector listing). The AMT has the features most will use (auto-focus, remote-focus, variable timer, etc). It projects an excellent picture, and like all the Ektagraphic III machines it is very durable and has better registration than the Kodak Carousel series of projectors (which were made for home use). The AMT did cost quite a bit more new but can be had used now for about the same price as the other Ektagraphic III models.
